Download the first official Spanish application to pray the Liturgy of the Hours from your mobile device. This interactive and intelligent app, developed by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, aims to facilitate the prayer of the Divine Office in an organized manner. It features a refined design that enhances recollection and includes a range of functionalities that allow users to navigate through liturgical texts independently and comfortably.

The app recognizes user navigation habits and, upon accessing it, prompts to pray the Hour corresponding to the time of day: Invitatory, Office of Readings, Lauds (Morning Prayer), Midday Prayer (Terce, Sext, and None), Vespers (Evening Prayer), and Compline (Night Prayer). The system automatically suggests the prayer suitable for the chronological moment but also enables complete autonomy to select desired prayers or resume them later if interrupted. Additionally, users can set reminders or notifications to receive alerts when it's time to pray a specific preselected prayer. Create a list of favorite Hours and allow the app to keep you reminded. All presented with a user-friendly, intuitive, and modern design for a renewed experience in managing the Liturgy of the Hours.

Furthermore, the Liturgy of the Hours CEE app is designed to offer comprehensive navigation and interrelation between the days of the Liturgical Year, enhancing user interaction and autonomy. Users can select any day throughout the year and easily explore various options designated by the Church for that specific day: Proper of Seasons, Commons, or commemorations; Common Offices or for the dead. Once an Office is chosen, users can navigate through different Hours either following chronological order or user preference. Users are seamlessly directed to subsequent prayers or have the option to select from different psalms of the day, even available in Latin if preferred. All at a click away.

The Liturgy of the Hours CEE app allows users to customize their reading experience for each moment and context. Users can choose from three font sizes, light or dark background themes, and even utilize an automatic scrolling feature eliminating the need for manual text scrolling - prayers move automatically at user-selected speeds. Maximum comfort to facilitate encounters with God and enhance user interaction with the application. A simple and elegant design crafted exclusively for this purpose.

In its advanced usage, Liturgy of the Hours enables preparation for Mass celebrations and 'lectio divina' with access to Lectionary readings for the day and Missal prayers. Additionally, it includes the Roman Martyrology with praises for all saints of that day to stay informed about feast days and encourage interaction among users by sharing saints of the day.

Another unique feature of the 'Liturgy of the Hours CEE' app is its integration of specific calendars from Spanish dioceses and ecclesiastical congregations and institutions. For the first time, users have access on their devices to detailed information related to their geographical area for storage purposes, sharing with others as needed while ensuring seamless navigation within the app. A contemporary and intuitive approach to prayer by bridging modern technology with interior spiritual life.
